A Jonas Brothers fan has inadvertently become the center of online attention after he was filmed reviewing an applicant’s resume at the band’s Sunday concert in Buffalo, New York.
As the crowd around him danced and sang along, the man calmly scrolled through a resume on his phone, creating a moment that quickly took over TikTok.
The woman who posted the clip joked, “Scott Kelly, your resume was reviewed tonight at a Jonas Brothers concert. Good luck.”
She also added in the caption, “Good luck Scott Kelly, I hope you get the job,” which immediately sparked a hunt for the mystery candidate.
Fans flooded the comments with excitement, trying to track down the real Scott Kelly.
Even Nick and Kevin Jonas jumped in to play. Kevin, 38, joked: “I’m one of Scott Kelly’s references.”
Nick, 33, also chimed in, writing, “Scott Kelly’s work ethic and critical thinking inspired me to write the line ‘red dress,'” giving a playful nod to the group’s hit Burning out.
The post has now received more than three million likes and more than 22.6 million views. Major brands also joined in, leaving their own humorous messages of support.
Old Navy noted, “Scott Kelly always dresses professionally, highly recommended,” while Pepsi added, “Can’t recommend Scott enough, he’s an elite employee.” HomeAway even joked, “Scott Kelly built my house. Hire him.”
Jonas Brothers fans shared their own jokes, with one writing: “Some CEOs cheat at concerts, others review resumes!” referring to a recent Coldplay kiss cam moment online.
No one has tracked down Scott Kelly yet, but based on the enthusiastic support, it appears there are job openings waiting for him regardless of whether he gets the job currently under review or not.
