Justin Baldoni’s father, Sam Baldoni, stands with his son amid his legal battle with Blake Lively, which the proud father appeared to refer to as “injustice” in a moving birthday tribute.

“I am so proud of my son for the man he has become and how he never stops learning about life, about love, about family and friendship and about how to stand up for the people he cares about most,” Sam began.

Reflecting on Justin’s birth, the proud dad noted, “As a new dad, I had no idea what to expect when Justin was born. His birth (our first) wasn’t easy. [My wife] Sharon spent over 34 hours in labor and we finally gave birth [having a] caesarean section. The result was that I was the first to hold him and put his face against his mother’s cheek.”

“It was a spiritual, very exciting experience to get close to God. This little man filled our home with so much joy all those years ago and to this day his presence not only lights up our lives, but the lives of everyone around him.”

He also took a moment to rave about Justin’s wife, Emily Baldoni, for being “his truly perfect partner.”

Justin’s loving mother, Sharon Baldoni, also penned a sweet birthday tribute, writing, “I never thought I would see the words ‘Justice for Justin’ from people around the world supporting my son. I thank you all from the depths of my soul to those who have supported him through these difficult times thus far.”

Blake’s trial against Justin is scheduled to begin on May 18.
