Justin Bieber put on a career-spanning performance when he headlined the second night of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 11.
The singer kept it low key as he walked on stage in a hoodie, shorts and sunglasses, before asking the crowd: “Tell me what song you want to hear tonight.”
He played several songs from his latest projects, SWAG And SWAG IIon the occasion of their first live outing. At the same time he revisited older hits such as Baby And Beauty and a beat.
During the set, Bieber also played clips from his past, including early YouTube videos and viral moments, to add a personal touch to the performance.
The show also had several surprise guests, including Wizkid, Tems, The Kid LAROI, Dijon and Mk.gee, who joined him on stage throughout the event.
Bieber also gave a shoutout to his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their son during his performance of “Everything Hallelujah,” which featured Hailey in the crowd.
The headline set comes after several recent performances, including his stripped-down performance of Yukon at the Grammy Awards earlier this year.
Ahead of Coachella, Bieber also shared behind-the-scenes footage of rehearsals on Twitch to build anticipation for his return to the Coachella stage.
