Justin Theroux has shared rare insights into what it was like working with Hollywood legend Meryl Streep.
Speak with PEOPLE Magazine at the season two premiere of Falloutthe 54-year-old actor reflected on his film experiences The devil wears Prada 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2006 fashion classic.
The sequel will hit theaters on May 1, 2026 and has already caused quite a stir.
“Everyone wants this,” he said of the long-awaited sequel.
Joking about his own nerves on set, Theroux quipped, “Oh my God. I think she was nervous about working with me, but I tried…” before quickly clarifying, “No, she was fantastic.”
The actor went on to explain that the initial jitters quickly disappeared once filming began, noting how effortlessly Streep sets the tone on set.
According to Theroux, her reputation as one of the best artists in the industry is immediately apparent in person.
“It goes without saying that she’s a professional, but after a few minutes of nerves you immediately realize, ‘Oh, she’s just a really good actress that I’m going to work with,'” he continued.
“That was really exciting,” he concluded.
