Katie Price has left her fans stunned after revealing the name of the British TV star she claims raped her more than 20 years ago.
The former glamor model, 47, made the shocking revelation during a live appearance on An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona on Tuesday night.
According to The sunKatie shocked the public when she revealed the name of her alleged attacker, a secret she had kept hidden for years.
However, there has been no official confirmation from Katie’s spokesperson about the claim.
In the past, Katie had chosen not to publicly name the person, but last year she hinted that she was willing to come forward. A source said at the time that she had changed her mind and would reveal it in time The sun:
“Katie thinks this is the time, she has nothing to lose. After all the me-too stuff, she thinks that if other people have revealed their sex attacker, why not me?
Katie spoke publicly about the alleged rape for the first time during an OK! magazine column.
Her comments came following allegations that her then-partner, Alex Reid, had appeared in a film that featured sexual assault.
In the column she wrote:
‘Rape is a subject that is close to my heart. I was raped more than once when I was younger. I had never dealt with anything or anyone so sick.
“I’ve never spoken about this before, but I think I have to now because I’m so hurt by these allegations that I wouldn’t take seriously an issue that affects so many women.”
She added:
‘I urge any woman who has been affected by rape and needs help to talk about it with someone they trust.’
Katie also opened up about another traumatic experience in the 2022 documentary Trauma and mewhere she revealed that she was raped again in 2018 during a carjacking in South Africa.
