Keke Palmer revealed how she manages her blossoming career with motherhood.
For those who don’t know, the 32-year-old American actress, singer and television host is the mother of a 2-year-old son named Leodis “Leo” Andrellton, born in February 2023. She shares Leo with her ex-partner Darius Jackson.
During a conversation with PEOPLE magazine at the LA premiere of her new Peacock series, The ‘Burbs, on Feb. 5, Palmer talked about managing high-profile jobs with a toddler.
She voiced her thoughts, jokingly saying, “There’s actually three of me,” before admitting, “It’s a lot.”
The mother of one explained, “I’m excited afterward [having] my son I have become even more conscious of what I choose to do, how I choose to save my time. I love everything I do, but I think [I’m] I am always aware that I have a good team, that I can handle it all and organize it, because it is a lot, but I love it.”
She further noted that seeing Leo grow and reach new milestones every day has taught her “how to live.”
Palmer said: “The process of watching him grow from a little baby who didn’t speak to having words, opinions and a personality is incredible. Mostly, I think, he’s teaching me how to relax and how to live. You know what I mean?”
“Just like when you see your child, it’s really a mirror to you with your own life, but you’re able to give him… what you need to give yourself. So it was a real blessing.”
“My son is everything to me, you know?” the Good luck said star.
It is important to note that Palmer’s latest project The ‘Burbs, based on the 1989 dark comedy of the same name, it was released on February 8, 2026.
