Kelsea Ballerini has made a heartfelt plea to her fans following her split from Chase Stokes.
Kelsea performed an Ask Me Anything segment on Instagram Stories, in which a fan asked, “How are YOU?!? You’re healing many of us, what do YOU need?”
“Thank you for saying this and asking. I feel in a stable and happy place now, really excited for this tour of Australia and the holidays,” the Miss Me More hitmaker replied.
However, she added a request, writing, “If I had one favor, it would be an honor that I try to make my personal life personal for now. Unless it comes from me, it’s not mine. And that is very important in protecting my peace at this time.”
Her request came after sources revealed last month that she and the Outdoor benches star had broken up again after a short-lived reconciliation.
“It was too much for Kelsea,” an insider said Our weekly, and noted that the relationship had become “so rocky and toxic” in recent months.
The mole claimed that the singer had trust issues that were getting in the way of their dynamic.
“Jealousy definitely got in the way,” the tipster said, adding that “it was hard for her to trust again,” following her 2022 divorce from Australian country singer Morgan Evans.
“Chase has really tried to make it work and loves her,” the mole added, claiming that the two are “not talking right now” but that there is still “a chance they could get back together.”
Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini were first paired in 2023.
