Kim Kardashian defends daughter North after outrage over fake tattoos

Kim Kardashian shared in a recent TikTok video how her daughter North West responded to the backlash she received for wearing fake tattoos.

The 45-year-old reality star spoke about the incident during her appearance on Complex’s GOAT Talk YouTube series, where she also shared her thoughts on the criticism.

The drama started when 12-year-old North appeared in a TikTok clip with temporary tattoos, fake piercings, grillz and blue contact lenses.

Many fans believed the look was real, leading to a flood of online comments. The Kardashians star revealed that Kanye West’s daughter was surprised by the outrage and didn’t understand the response.

“She said, ‘I don’t get it. It’s a Halloween costume. It’s all fake,'” Kim recalls.

The SKIMS founder also revealed that it was North, not her, who responded to a Daily Mail TikTok post about the controversy.

“She picks up my phone, writes back to a comment and says, ‘This is such a non-issue.’ Then I thought online: ‘Kim defends North to the end,’ she said laughing. “That’s a good blow.”

The beauty mogul described the trolls’ comments as “appalling” and “disturbing.”

Additionally, she explained that her daughter always needs her approval before posting on TikTok. “She and her friends love creating costumes and looks.

It was Halloween season, so they put on fake tattoos, fake piercings and colored hair. They looked like opium Powerpuff Girls.”

For those unfamiliar, North West is Kim’s eldest child with ex-husband Kanye West.
