Kim Kardashian felt “uncomfortable” and lost her self-confidence after failing the bar exam in California.
The 45-year-old reality TV star has been working towards becoming a lawyer, but it was recently revealed that she failed her final exams and will now have to take it again if she wants to qualify.
She confessed that she “felt bad” after getting the results, telling Time Magazine, “I took a minute to process that, and when I got my results I immediately felt bad about it.”
“I felt very uncomfortable for a while and lacked confidence. You get the results on Friday and I knew they would be live on the internet on Sunday morning,” she added.
Kim also commented, “So I wanted to mention it first and let people know it wasn’t to my liking. So I immediately thought, okay, let’s do this, I know what to do.”
She also added that she felt down about the failure but she is determined to get back to work and pass the exam next time.
“This really sucks because I put so much time into it, but I know what I can do better,” the reality TV star said.
Kim went on to say, “I’m pretty good at turning failure into something, and I just don’t have time to dwell on it. You can feel sorry for yourself for a moment, but I have to take that time and put it into more studying.”
Kim Kardashian studied ‘nine hours a day’ for three months as she had to pass the bar exam on her ‘first try’.
The 45-year-old has been working towards becoming a lawyer, but it was recently revealed that she failed her final exam and will now have to retake it if she wants to qualify.
Speaking on an episode of her show The Kardashians, which was filmed before she received her bar exam result, she explained, “It’s just the craziest, most emotional rollercoaster.”
“I really have to decline the first attempt because I don’t have another few months to give up. I was studying nine hours a day, every day. I feel a little overwhelmed,” Kim added.
However, when her results came in, she wrote on her Instagram at the time: “Well… I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV.”
“Six years later, I started practicing law, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up, just more studying and even more determination,” Kim Kardashian concluded.
