Kim Kardashian found herself in new drama this week after a quiet offer she made privately turned into a public fight with OJ Simpson’s estate.
Kim said on her show that she offered $15,000 to buy the Bible that her late father Robert Kardashian Sr once gave to Simpson.
The beauty icon’s letter later leaked online and her offer was rejected, leaving her annoyed.
She even said she would have gone up to thirty thousand dollars because the item meant a lot to her.
Things heated up when Malcolm LaVergne, the executor of Simpson’s estate, fired back.
He told TMZ that Kim made the story look different than what actually happened.
He also made a personal attack on her by saying that she still had not passed the bar exam, and then bragged that he had passed three bar exams on his first try. He ended by saying that she was at least richer than him.
The Bible was later sold at auction for eighty thousand dollars. LaVergne said the estate had no choice because the item was already in storage at the auction and had to be sold there to cover costs.
He also said that Kim’s team contacted him after the deal had already been completed.
The Bible had strong sentimental value for the mother of four because it contained a lengthy message her father wrote for Simpson in the 1990s.
However, this moment came right after Kim found out she had failed the California bar exam again.
Additionally, Kim told her followers that she wouldn’t give up and that she planned to study harder until she eventually passed.
