Kim Kardashian found herself in hot water after giving her four children a shocking gift.
Ingrid Newkirk, the founder of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), slammed the SKIMS founder for giving puppies as Christmas gifts to each of her four children.
“Puppies are not cuddly toys, and it’s a damn shame that Kim missed the opportunity to be a spokesperson for shelter puppies and is rightly criticized on social media for it,” Ingrid told the newspaper. Daily mail on Sunday.

Ingrid added that the Kardashians Star can “make some amends now by sending their children to volunteer at a local shelter, or at least one sterilization day to help stop the growing homeless puppy crisis.”
Kim came under fire after posting a photo of four puppies on Instagram Stories on Christmas Day.
“Every child got a puppy,” she captioned the post.
For those unfamiliar, Kim is a proud mother of four children, North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, whom she welcomed with ex-partner Kanye West.
