Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn discovered that it was better for them to leave Hollywood and go to Colorado.
The 75-year-old actor appeared in a recent interview with FOX News to promote his new show, The Madison.
During the conversation, he talked about moving to his cabin with his old partner to live upstate.
‘I like that the most [Hawn] really likes it in Colorado,” he said of Goldie.
One reason is because his home is close to his son Wyatt Russell’s home.
“Wyatt and Meredith and their two boys now live in Colorado. So we like to spend as much time there as possible,” Kurt added.
“I’d like to be there more,” Kurt went on to say about Colorado. “And there’s a different kind of life there. That’s mainly it. I’d like to spend as much time there as possible.”
When Kurt moved to the state at age 26, he previously told The Wall Street Journal, “Our house in Old Snowmass is my favorite, a large, beautiful log cabin lodge on a ranch we moved to just over 40 years ago.
“I like waking up in bed every morning and looking at the mountain in the back,” he added of the house. “I like to go to the barn, saddle up a horse and ride. I also like to sit in front of the fireplace in the living room.”
It is pertinent to mention that Kurt and Goldie have been together since 1983 but have not tied the knot yet.
