Kylie Minogue names dream collaborator for next holiday music

Kylie Minogue has opened up about who she would like to collaborate with for future holiday music projects.

The pop legend, 57, is now looking to Michael Bublé, often dubbed the ‘King of Christmas’, for her next Christmas music, per People magazine.

In addition to Bublé, Minogue also has Ariana Grande high on her list. However, the singer says she is open to collaborating with almost anyone. Collaborations, she said, are something she genuinely loves across all genres.

Minogue was recently released Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped), a special edition celebrating the 10th anniversary of her 2015 holiday album. The expanded version combines the original songs with new ones.

Looking back on the album, Minogue said revisiting it felt ambitious, especially after finishing her Tension tour. The timing felt right, she noted at the time.

She added that many of the songs have become part of listeners’ annual traditions, making their return especially meaningful.

She also suggested that her next holiday release could take a very different approach, from stripped-down versions to a full orchestral reworking.

She also hinted that she would explore a softer, indie-folk sound in the future, although details remain under wraps.
