Lady Gaga isn’t feeling well!
Hours before her Mayhem Ball Tour show was set to begin in Montreal, the pop star canceled her concert due to a “respiratory infection.”
The GrammyThe winning artist took to her Instagram account on Monday and revealed in a statement that she regretted pulling out of the April 6 show due to her health concerns as her doctor had “strongly advised” her not to perform today.
Gaga began, “Hi everyone. I’m so sorry to announce that I won’t be able to perform tonight and have to cancel the show.”
“I have been battling a respiratory infection for the past few days and have done everything I can to rest and recover. But it has gotten worse. My doctor has strongly advised me not to perform today and honestly I don’t think I can give you the quality of performance you deserve today.”
The ‘Abracadabra’ hitmaker added: “I know how deeply disappointing this is. And I really couldn’t feel worse about letting you down. I’m so sorry to everyone who made plans to be there and support me. Being in Montreal and performing Thursday and Friday was magical and very meaningful.”
“To everyone who came tonight, I am heartbroken and deeply sorry,” she concluded.
This came after Gaga had shows on Thursday and Friday, which she called “magical and deeply meaningful.”
