Lady Gaga stops show mid-song to check on injured dancer

Lady Gaga cuts the music during a performance after the dancer falls on stage

Lady Gaga abruptly stopped her Sydney concert after one of her dancers fell off stage during a rain-soaked performance.

The 39-year-old singer was performing Garden of Eden Saturday as part of her Mayhem Ball Tour when a dancer slipped on the wet stage and fell out of sight.

Fan videos shared on X and TikTok show Gaga immediately running to the edge of the stage and signaling for the music to stop as the lights go out.

“Just a minute,” she told the audience, before repeatedly looking at the dancer and asking, “Are you okay?” Moments later, she reassured fans by saying, “We just had an accident on stage. Everything’s fine… everyone just hold on, please.”

Gaga then leaned down to speak directly to the dancer and was later seen hugging him before returning to perform. The crowd cheered as the situation was brought under control.

The dancer, later identified as Michael Dameski, confirmed on Instagram Stories that he was uninjured.

He posted a short video of himself dancing in a bathroom and wrote, “Hey everyone, I’m doing great. Thanks for checking in. I’m glad I was able to finish the last show of the year!”

He later shared footage of himself returning to the stage, adding: “The show must go on.”

The Mayhem Ball Tour kicked off earlier this year and has already traveled through North America, Europe and Australia.

Gaga announced in September that the tour, which she is producing together with fiancé Michael Polansky, will be expanded with more dates and cities in 2026.

The tour will resume in February in Glendale, Arizona, with scheduled stops in Boston, Washington, DC, Montreal, New York City and Los Angeles.
