Liev Schreiber ‘immediately’ hospitalised after unusual headache condition


Liev Schreiber was reportedly rushed to a New York City hospital this weekend after suffering what he described to his doctor as a “huge headache.”

According to TMZthe doctor urged him to undergo immediate examination, and the actor was then kept overnight as a precaution while he underwent various tests.

Sources told the newspaper that despite the alarming symptom, Schreiber was still able to talk and walk normally when he arrived at the hospital.

No further medical details have been shared and his condition remains unclear as testing continues.

Schreiber has had a long and varied career in film, television and theater, gaining recognition for projects such as Spotlight, Scream, Island of Dogs And A small light.

He also headlined the hit series Ray Donovan from 2013 to 2020, playing the title character for seven seasons. Most recently, he appeared in the 2024 Netflix drama The perfect couplein which he plays Tag Winbury opposite Nicole Kidman.

His personal life has also seen important milestones in recent years. Schreiber married Taylor Neisen in July 2023 after six years together.

A month later they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Hazel Bee. He is also the father of two older children, Sasha, 18, and Kai, 16, whom he shares with actress Naomi Watts.

Although Schreiber and Watts ended their 11-year relationship in 2016, they have continued to co-parent without any problems.

Earlier this year, they reunited for Sasha’s high school graduation, even posing for cheerful family photos.

Another snapshot showed Watts, now married to Billy Crudup, and Schreiber together with their spouses, reflecting how the blended family has maintained a supportive relationship.
