Linda Robson reveals career change

Linda Robson prefers acting to being a panelist Loose women.

Before joining the ITV lunchtime talk show as a regular in June 2012, the 67-year-old star played many characters on stage and screen – most famously being Tracey Stubbs in the film BBC-then-ITV sitcom, Birds of a feather.

And since becoming a Loose Women panellist, Linda thinks people now regard her as just a celebrity rather than an actress.

In a candid conversation with Bella magazine, when asked if she prefers acting or being active Loose womenLinda shared: “I actually prefer acting. I think once I started Loose Women you become more of a celebrity than an actor.”

Earlier this year, Linda and her Birds of a feather co-star Lesley Joseph, 80, reunites to film a special episode of Channel 5’s murder mystery series, The good ship murder, which will be released in 2026.

And Linda said she was thrilled to be working with Lesley again – the first time since ITV folded Birds of a feather back in December 2020.

Linda said: “I did some acting work with Lesley this year, we did that The good ship murderwhich was filmed in Malta. I had to kill her. I enjoyed it because I said, “I’ve been waiting 30 years to strangle you!”

“That was a lot of fun,” concluded Linda Robson.
