Huda Mustafa has spoken out after a temporary restraining order was issued against her based on allegations made by her boyfriend’s ex-partner in Los Angeles.
The Love Island USA contestant brushed off the claims on Tuesday when she discussed the situation via Instagram Stories. “I am aware of what is being said, and it is not true,” she wrote, adding that she is allowing the matter to proceed through legal channels.
Court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 12 show that Nicole Olivera, Louis Russell’s former partner, requested protection for herself and her son. In the filing, Olivera accused Mustafa of making threats and harassing them multiple times.
She alleged that Mustafa traveled to Los Angeles and confronted her at her residence, claiming she entered the building and hurled threats at her. Olivera also accused Mustafa of making disturbing statements over the phone and contacting her on social media.
The filing also states that Olivera suffered hours of what she described as alarming behavior and expressed fear for her safety and that of her child.
A judge then issued a temporary restraining order requiring Mustafa to stay at least 100 meters away from Olivera and her son, including their home, workplace and school. The order also prohibits any contact until a court hearing scheduled for April 3.
Mustafa rose to prominence Love Island USA Season 7, where she finished third, and later started dating Russell after the show.
