Luke Thompson has finally reflected on his character’s ability to ‘love bomb’ Bridgerton season 4.
For those who don’t know, the 37-year-old English actor plays the role of Benedict Bridgerton, the second Bridgerton son, in an alternate history romance television series created by Chris Van Dusen.

While you’re talking to PEOPLE magazine about his character during the season 4 premiere in Paris, Thompson revealed that Benedict’s biggest challenge this season is his unwillingness to be “committed.”
He put it: “He is someone who is very happy to give everyone a little piece of himself – but no more and no further.”
The Transatlantic The star even stated that Benedict needs to learn to “love someone specifically” as he is responsible for the “general love bomb” clouding his feelings for Sophie.
“How can you really give something to someone [everything] and show everyone the more complicated depths of yourself?” he asked.
“I think this is his journey, sort of [him figuring out] how to go deeper,” Thompson hinted at the arc viewers can expect.
Before concluding, it is pertinent to mention this Bridgerton Season 4, which consists of two parts, will drop its second part on February 26, 2026.
