KATSEYE’s Manon Bannerman has given her fans a subtle yet meaningful hint during her ongoing hiatus from KATSEYE, which began in February 2026.
The singer recently shared a message, reportedly posted on the fan platform Weverse, in which she thanked fans for their continued support during her absence.
“Thank you so much for all the love and support you have sent my way,” Bannerman wrote.
The singer continued, “I am very grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I am happy and healthy. I will share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”
Around the same time, fans noticed that Bannerman had updated her Instagram bio and removed any association with KATSEYE.
It just says: “mademoiselle manzanita.”
This big update comes as KATSEYE gears up for the release of their new single, Little finger up! for which they dropped the first teaser, marking their first release since Bannerman’s hiatus.
If PEOPLE magazine previously reported, Bannerman’s hiatus was first announced on February 20 in a statement shared on the group’s official X account.
“Hello. After open and thoughtful conversations together, we share that Manon will be taking a temporary break from group activities to focus on her health and well-being,” the statement said.
“We fully support this decision. KATSEYE remains committed to each other and to the fans who mean the world to us. The group will continue its planned activities during this period and we look forward to being together again when the time is right,” it was concluded.
In addition to Manon Bannerman, KATSEYE, the six-member group, also consists of Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae.
