Mariah Carey has been playfully warned to pay attention to her Christmas wreath.
According to E! NewsZooey Deschanel jokingly claimed that she is gunning for the title of Queen of Christmas.
Speaking to the outlet, Deschanel joked, “Look, I’m just stating facts. I have two Christmas movies out and two Christmas records.”
The 45-year-old actress, who played Jovie opposite Will Ferrell in Elf, can currently be seen in the festive film Merv.
Her band, She & Healso released A real her and him Christmas in 2011 and Christmas in 2016.
“Does Mariah have two Christmas movies? I’m just wondering,” she teased.
As fans know, Mariah Carey earned the publicly bestowed title of Queen of Christmas thanks to her 1994 hit song All I want for Christmas is you.
The song is the centerpiece of the singing legend’s album, Merry christmasin addition to classic Christmas carols, including Silent Night, O Holy Night, Joy to the world, Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)And Santa Claus is coming to town.

After the playful banter, Deschanel made it clear that she has no plans to steal the crown.
She added, “No, I love Mariah. She’s the Queen of Christmas,” before withdrawing from the chat.
