Mark Ronson hints he’s ready for DJ Taylor Swift’s big day

Mark Ronson recently shared some fun stories during his chat with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show.

The award-winning producer revealed that he actually DJed Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding last week.

Ronson said he had known Benny for about a decade and when the music producer got engaged, he asked him to play a special ’90s-themed DJ set at the wedding.

The music producer happily agreed, saying the party was full of fun and laughter. “It was a lot of fun. I’ve known Benny for ten years and when he got engaged he asked if you would come and do a ’90s DJ set at my wedding and I was sure.”

During the chat, the 50-year-old music icon also revealed that he’s keeping his year open in case Taylor Swift asks him to play at her wedding.

Laughing at the idea, the Find you again music artist added: “I played a wedding she was at apparently a week ago. I didn’t see her on the dance floor so I probably didn’t go out of my way to sell my services there.”

He went on to talk about his stepfather, Mick Jones of the band Foreigner, and said the hit “I Want to Know What Love Is” was written for his mother.

The songwriter and composer also said that many of the houses featured on MTV Cribs were fake, except for his own house, which was small and real.

Mark ended on a lighter note, saying he’s grateful for that Uptown funk remains a huge wedding song and even made fun of his early DJ names like Old English, Mark The Spark and Spark Ronson.
