After the trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was reportedly leaked, Marvel Studios reportedly faced a new challenge when a teaser for what appears to be Spider-Man: Brand New Day surfaced online.
As GamesRadar reports, there’s no way to verify if it’s a real trailer; However, copyright strikes from the studio indicate that the footage may be legitimate.
In the alleged teaser, from Bruce Banner to the Punisher, including Sadie Sink’s mysterious character, they all made their entries.
Despite this, Marvel would release not one but four trailers for Avengers: Doomsday. A teaser is released every week before James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire & Ash hits theaters.
In other news, Simu Liu, who reprises his superhero role Shang-Chi in the upcoming Avengers movie, explains why he was underdressed in a photo of the film’s cast.
“This was the first time I met Downey, by the way,” he said on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show.
Simu admits he was “embarrassed” by his casual attire, adding, “I was the only one of these people who had to work that day. So I showed up to work ready to shoot. I wasn’t trying to look pretty.’
“I get a text in the middle of the day saying Downey wants to see me after work,” he recalled, adding, “No!, I’m wearing shorts and flip-flops.”
“And they said, No, Downey wants everyone to come in and say hi,” the Kim’s Convenience star recalled.
“So I showed up and literally the first thing he said was, ‘Oh, look at you. Oh, that’s a choice!!'” adding, “I was like, ‘God!'”
Spider-Man: Brand New Day releases on July 31, while Avengers: Doomsday releases on December 18.
