Matthew Morrison has shared his real feelings about joining the beloved comedy-drama show, cheerfulness.

In a recent conversation with PEOPLE MagazineMorrison opened up about how to become a member cameo, the service where celebrities record personalized video messages unexpectedly rekindled his bond with the show and its character, Mr. Schuester.

“I feel like I’ve been so far away from it for so long,” Morrison began.

He said, “Then I just started doing these Cameo things that have become kind of crazy and viral.”

Going forward, he admitted that there are “two songs I kind of forgot” that he has to sing most often: String song And Tell me something good.

Fans reportedly liked the songs so much that Morrison decided to add them to his 90-minute one-man show, Show Up.

“Now people want to hear them so badly that I actually incorporated their songs into my concert,” he said.

“Because people get them by shouting them out during the concert: ‘Thong Song!’ I’m like, ‘Okay, we’ll give the people what they want,’” he joked.
