Megan Thee Stallion finally broke the silence about her romance with Klay Thompson.
In a new interview with People magazine Friday, the 30-year-old rapper said she is “overly comfortable” in her relationship with an NBA star.
‘Well, I never want to tell [anybody] to just get into a relationship just because everyone else has one, and I’m not going to tell you to just get into a relationship because you have to,” Megan said. “To be honest, I didn’t even know I was going to be in a relationship.”
The Grammy winner went on to say, “I think because I finally started to have a better mind about myself and my life, and I had already done a lot of work to heal me.”
“I had been in therapy, I had a lot of activities that I started doing for myself. Maybe God just opened that space for me to have someone who really loved me,” Megan continued.
The Sweetest cake hitmaker added that Klay came into her life at the perfect time.
“This is one of the first times I’ve really felt comfortable,” Megan said. “I’m comfortable, honey!”
Elsewhere in the interview, the singer also advised her fans to let love come to them instead of chasing it.
“I think people need to stop trying to be in love and chase love,” Megan said. “They just have to let it happen. If it’s meant for you, it will happen. God doesn’t give you anything that isn’t meant for you.”
For those unfamiliar, Megan and Klay started dating in July 2025.
