Meghan Markle put on a dazzling £7,000 fashion show when she made a surprise appearance at a charity tennis tournament in Los Angeles this weekend, all in support of one of her best friends.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a white halter neck dress with button closure by Carolina Herrera.
Meghan also has the same style in navy blue, having previously worn the white version during an Easter video in which she was admirably surprised by a flock of ducks.
To maintain her fresh and polished look, she paired the dress with strappy Jimmy Choo kitten heels worth £695 and her Loro Piana ‘Loom’ handbag worth £3,410, bringing the total outfit cost to over £7,000.
The event, held in memory of her friend Kelly McKee Zajfen’s late son, George, was organized in support of the Alliance for Children’s Rights.
She shares a close friendship with Kelly in Montecito, smiling warmly in group photos next to her friend and Kelly’s daughter, alongside Prince Harry in a relaxed white polo and navy trousers.
Although Meghan is known for her love of luxury jewellery, she kept it surprisingly understated by opting for a pair of 24-carat gold stud earrings from Polène, priced at a modest £140.
But eagle-eyed fans couldn’t miss the dazzling statement piece on her hand, a pear-shaped diamond ‘Queen’ ring that was believed to be a gift from Prince Harry.
The £3,185 Logan Hollowell design, the Classic Queen version, features a moonstone surrounded by a halo of pavé diamonds, which is said to ‘bring success in love and business’.
In a touching detail, the moonstone is associated with the goddess Diana, perhaps a subtle nod to Harry’s late mother.
Meghan’s court appearance proved she’s still a true style star, both on and off royal duty.
