Meredith Maines’ decision to leave the employ of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appears to have come about for a very different reason than the one the world was told when she announced her departure.
Royal photographer Helena Chard is the expert who revealed this alternative reason during her interview with Fox News digital.
According to a statement the couple released when the news broke: “Meredith Maines and Method Communications have completed their work with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The Duke and Duchess are grateful for their contributions and wish them well.”
As for her own statement, she announced that she will “pursue a new opportunity in 2026.”
But according to this insider, even though claims are being made that the Kris Jenner birthday party controversy was actually a contributing factor to Meredith Maines’ decision to leave.
Because “she, together with the communications team, has faced scrutiny over media handling and public perception,” says Ms Chard.
In the expert’s eyes, the reason for this likely stems from the fact that “Maines is a highly respected communications professional and will no doubt protect her reputation from the Sussexes’ potentially damaging, erratic behavior.”
And ‘after all, a communication strategy only works if all parties stick to the plan’.
Before signing off, she also added: “There are rumors going around that Meghan and Harry aren’t following expert advice. Hiring top experts is essential for everything to run successfully. Everyone has their strengths and you would hope that Meghan and Harry have learned that they don’t always know best!”
