The family of Michael J. Fox has a joyful new milestone to celebrate. His eldest child with wife Tracy Pollan, son Sam Fox, quietly tied the knot with partner Molly Milstein in New York last month.
The couple confirmed the happy news on November 6, sharing photos of their intimate celebration on Instagram.
Molly posted a carousel of snapshots with the simple caption: “A month earlier.”
The photos show the bride wearing a chic white blazer and mini skirt, while 36-year-old Sam opted for a dark suit.
One moment, the two stand under a minimalist chuppah held aloft by loved ones as they sign their prenup.
Milstein’s Instagram account is private.
Although Michael was not in the photo, Tracy, along with the couple’s twin daughters, Aquinnah and Schuyler, 30, and their youngest, Esmé, 24, appeared in several family photos from that day on.
Sam proposed in February 2024 and announced the engagement with a snowy selfie showing off Molly’s ring. He captioned the post: “LFG!!” Since then, the couple had been planning their ceremony.
Outside of his personal life, Sam has followed his father into the entertainment world and is building a career as a film producer with credits such as Good grief And Dead boy detectives.
Michael, who has lived with Parkinson’s since 1991, retired from acting in 2020 and narrated AARP Magazine he “could no longer act comfortably at all.”
Yet he has not yet completely closed that chapter. He will appear in Season 3 of Apple TV+ Shrinkwhere Harrison Ford’s character Paul navigates Parkinson’s disease.
Ford has praised Fox’s presence on set, calling him “a very smart, very courageous, noble, generous, passionate man and an example to all of us, whether we’re dealing with Parkinson’s or not.”
He added: “Michael’s courage, his fortitude and his grace, more than anything else, are on full display.”
He shared that Fox provides both inspiration and insight as he portrays a character facing similar challenges: “He gives me both a physical representation of the disease to educate myself with, but more than that, he makes me believe that Paul could believe he could be up for the challenge.”
Now that Sam and Molly are officially married, it’s a beautiful new chapter for the Fox-Pollan family, celebrated in silence, surrounded by the people closest to them.
