Miley Cyrus is undecided about her participation in the Super Bowl halftime show.
In a recent conversation with Variety for the cover story, the “Flower” singer expressed her thoughts on headlining the Super Bowl halftime show.
During the conversation, Miley revealed why she’s hesitant to take the high-profile gig.
“I always think the Super Bowl feels like too much pressure,” she told the polsiher.
“I would have to do the mental work to make sure it’s not about the Super Bowl, because then you can’t help but say, ‘It’s millions of people, and it’s the most watched thing in the world,'” the 33-year-old singer said.
However, Miley might only consider a halftime show if a similar strategy from her upcoming Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special were employed.
“If I could find a way to make it exactly like the Hannahversary – taking a journey through the discography and appreciating every song, every era for what it is – I think I could find it within myself,” she admitted.
When talking about her Hannah Montana event, she noted, “I didn’t want to approach Hannah in this modern way. I wanted to keep it. But now Hannah is also wearing Gucci.”
Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special releases March 24 on Disney+.
