Millie Bobby Brown recently expressed her desire to shield her adopted daughter from the spotlight.
The Stranger things star, who tied the knot with Jack Bongiovi in 2024, made the surprise announcement that she had adopted in a social media post on August 21.
In a final conversation with British Vogue for their December issue, Millie opens up about her concerns for her daughter, saying, “For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to possibly one day share it herself.”
Enola Holmes actress points out that she is not the one who “purposefully” unintentionally puts her daughter in the spotlight.
“If she chooses to share her personality with the world one day, like I did when I was young, we would support that,” the 21-year-old explained.
However, Millie tells the channel that her daughter is still quite small for the time being and that, because they are her parents, it is their job to ‘protect’ her from the public eye.
Elsewhere in the interview, Millie talks about her plans for a big family, saying: “I really want a big family – I’m one of four; he’s one of four.”
Lady actress is happy to have a partner like Jake, who she describes as “the most wonderful father”.
Earlier this year, Millie revealed she wanted to become a mother.
During a performance at the Smart podcast, the Modern family The actress went on to say that she is “very young” but that she is looking forward to motherhood.
“My mom had her first child when she was 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since I met Jake,” she continued.
Millie added: “Ever since I was a baby… I wanted to be a mother, just like my mother was to me. And my grandma, my grandmother, she was a big part of my life.”
