Naomi Scott has revealed that the Lemonade mouth fans are supporting her new music career and shared how fans of her 2021 Disney film have continued to support her.
The British actress had a chat with singer-songwriter Jessie Ware for Interview magazine. Naomi explained that now that she is finding her audience in music, with her debut album: FIG she was cheered on by the film’s devoted fans.
“Honestly, it was sick,” she said of the film. “It didn’t go off and became High school musicalbut it has cultural resonance for people who have watched it.”
The smile 2 actress, also known for her role as princess jasmine in the live-action remake of Aladdinnoted that one song in particular has remained a fan favorite.
“There’s a song my character sings in it called She’ll be gone soonit’s a stunner,” Naomi recalled.
She insisted that the song is “still super popular”, so she decided to perform it at Lollapalooza in Chicago in August 2025.
She also believes that many of the film’s young fans have grown into music lovers.
“Now people say, ‘You’re Mo from Lemonade Mouth,’” she said. “They might have been an 11-year-old kid who loved that movie, and now they’re 20, 21 and have a wide range of music tastes.”
The star added: “They love pop and they love what I do. So that was quite encouraging for me.”
It is pertinent to mention that Naomi Scott has released her debut album, FIG on March 20.
