Naomi Watt’s daughter Kai is her trusted fashion critic.
During a performance op The Kelly Clarkson Show, Watts revealed that her daughter likes to give fashion advice, even when she’s not asked for it.
“Fashion is an important topic in the household, especially now, and I take serious notes from her, both solicited and unsolicited.”
The watchman star recalled a time when Kai gave unsolicited advice on her Met Gala dress in front of designer Michael Kors.
In 2018, the actress had a choice of two “beautiful” dresses from Kors and went for an ensemble of 9,000 crystals, despite Kai having chosen the other.
“[Kai] Coincidentally, I FaceTimed Mr. Michael Kors himself in the car and said, “You wore the wrong dress.” For him to hear! And you know everyone with a creative bone in their body, they are very sensitive people. We are artists,” the Goodnight Mommy star.
Kai’s modeling career is taking off and Watts has become “a bit of a momager”.
“She’s extra young, but she’s got her head on, and it was a nice way for her to take pride in what she’s doing,” Watts said during an appearance on Today with Jenna and friends in 2025. “It’s exciting and much younger than we expected. But for Kai, we felt she was ready.”
