Naomi Watts has no problem showing off her natural beauty in her 50s.
In a recent conversation with Bustle, the 57-year-old actress opened up about her thoughts on plastic surgery.
Although they showed no interest in the cosmetic procedure, The Love Story joked that “the people around me can tolerate my sagging jaws.”
Watts said that over the past decade she has freed herself from the idea of looking a certain way and embraced her natural beauty “in the moment.”
“I think you get to a certain age, and you know what works for you and you just stick with it. I don’t want to look 25 anymore or look like someone who is fighting to look 25,” she admitted.
Additionally, Watts noted that she didn’t have “the guts” to go under the knife and was only “interested in putting myself out there as I am.”
“For now, I hope other people around me can tolerate my droopy jaw because right now I don’t want to go under the knife,” she joked.
But those who do a facelift, Watts notes, she doesn’t judge.
“I can’t say categorically at this point that I’m for or against, but I certainly would never condemn those who do it,” she added.
