Nick Jonas is all set to star in the upcoming action thriller film, Body man.
According to VarietyThe upcoming project will reunite the musician with director Gary Fleder and writer Byron Balasco. Jonas previously worked with Gary and Byron on the TV series Kingdom.
“I have been developing this project for some time and I am excited to see it become a reality,” Nick said in a statement.
“Working with Byron Balasco and director Gary Fleder again also makes this project more special for me,” he added.
The upcoming action thriller follows “a violent struggle for power and, ultimately, survival, which arises during a family Christmas, when an eccentric billionaire unexpectedly hands over the expected inheritance of his fake baby children from his private military company to his longtime bodyguard (Jonas).
The recordings for Body man is expected to start in June 2026.
About the upcoming project, Gary said, “Working on Kingdom with Byron Balasco and Nick Jonas was one of the highlights of my career.”
“So I’m thrilled to be joining them again on Bodyman – a smart, lean, thrilling action thriller that gives Nick the chance to show all sides of what he can do: the physicality, the intensity and the emotional depth,” he added.
