An insider said Radaronline that the 43-year-old Trinidadian rapper, singer and songwriter is hungry and is taking serious measures to achieve it.
The source said: “Nicki wants real power, real impact and a place at the table.”
In November 2025, Minaj sparked controversy after she supported President Donald Trump’s claims that Christians are being persecuted in Nigeria.
Speaking at a Turning Point USA event, she said: “In Nigeria, Christians are being targeted. Churches have been burned, families have been torn apart… simply because of the way they pray.”
However, analysts have strongly condemned her comments, insisting that jihadists and other armed groups have started violence that affects all communities in the West African country, regardless of religious beliefs, socio-economic status and geographical background.
Another source close to the Make love crooner revealed, “But she doesn’t apologize, and she doesn’t walk back anything.”
“Nicki believes that taking a stand is more important than chart position, and she has decided she has no problem losing fans,” the insider said.
