Nicole Kidman is reportedly receiving support from Hollywood icon Russell Crowe following her split from Keith Urban.
As reported by Closer magazinethe Oscar winner leans into the Gladiator star as she deals with the end of her 19-year marriage.
The source told the newspaper: “Russell has gone through his own heartbreaking divorce after 20 years of marriage, so he can empathize with Nicole in a way that not everyone in her world can.”
They added: “He has a tough exterior, but on the inside he’s a real softie. Since Nicole told him what was going on, he’s called her on the phone almost every day just to check in and cheer her up. Not too long ago, they even managed to meet up for coffee.”
According to the sources, Nicole Kidman is “putting on a brave face” in front of people and everyone around her has lent her support, including Russell Crowe.
Insiders revealed that the actor told Nicole “what a catch she is and what a fool Keith is for letting her go.”
“It’s no doubt good for her confidence and she really needs a boost right now. Her whole world has been rocked by this. When she’s at a low point, she can talk to him and get a pep talk and come out feeling ready to keep going,” they said.
He added: “Russell’s advice carries a lot of weight because he is so authentic. He also never sugarcoats things, he tells it like it is, something Nicole appreciates so much.”
Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage.
