Offset gives fans Halloween treat with surprise album ‘Haunted by Fame’

Offset sent fans into a frenzy by taking over the spooky season with a surprise album, Chased by fame.

Just in time as the Halloween spirits are at their peak, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, took to Instagram on Friday, October 31, to announce the release of his new batch of songs.

“F**KA SPOOKY SEASON / IT’S SEASON [exclamation mark emoji] NOW HAUNTED BY FAME [thumbs up emoji]| YA DIGG OUT ON YOUTUBE,” he wrote alongside a preview of his new song Yes Digg music video.

Fans were excited about the new album, which dropped just months after the Atlanta rapper’s third solo project, with one exuberant lyric: “bros feeding us [crying emoji] offset by a generational run.”

For those unfamiliar, Cardi B’s ex had a big year in 2017, with two notable projects.

Culture, the Migos’ second studio album, featuring Offset alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff, was released on January 27, 2017 and debuted at number one on the charts. Billboard 200.

Later that year, on October 31, he teamed up with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin Without warninga surprise Halloween release that became an instant classic.

That’s why fans are feeling extra nostalgic this Halloween season.

Before releasing the latest eleven-track album, Offset teased it on Instagram two days ago: “Halloween… Haunted By Fame 10•31 [purple smiling face with horns].
