Abu Dhabi: The Pakistan Cricket team arrived in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to set up for their decisive Super Four collision against Sri Lanka, a competition that will determine their survival in the Asia Cup 2025.

Abu Dhabi is almost a two -hour drive from Dubai, where the Pakistani team is located, and the team will return to their hotel in Dubai Marina after the game.

The players are taking a complete day of rest today to ensure that they are fully charged and ready for the meeting with high bet.

The upcoming Super Four match is crucial for both Pakistan and Sri Lanka to insist on the final qualification, because the two teams members members in their respective opening matches.

Sri Lanka succumbed to a defeat of four wicket through Bangladesh on Saturday, while Pakistan had a defeat of six wicket against fierce Rivals India the next day.

Pakistan is at the bottom of the Super Four classification as a result of an inferior net running speed until Sri Lanka in third place.

On the contrary, the 2016 Champions, India, are at the top because of a superior net running speed than Bangladesh, because both teams each have two points in one match.

Qualification

Pakistan remains contrary to the final of Asia Cup 2025, but their path is uncertain and can strongly depend on the net run rate (NRR). Even two victories of their remaining luminaires may not be enough, while in some scenarios a single victory could be sufficient.

If India wipes all three Super Four matches, and Pakistan beats Bangladesh but loses against Sri Lanka, then India Vooruit is moving forward with three victories and the other teams end up on one on one – so NRR can decide the second finalist.

Pakistan sees both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, India who beats Sri Lanka and beats Bangladesh and makes India upset. In that case, three teams would end with two victories each, so that the qualification was pushed to NRR again.

If both Pakistan and India won all their remaining games, they would reach the final that will be played on 26 September. In this case, India would have three victories, Pakistan Two, Bangladesh One and Sri Lanka None, who offer the simplest path to the final.
