Paris Hilton has joined a high-profile line-up at this year’s Brighton Pride in Britain, where she is expected to take part as an ‘icon’ performer.
She will take the stage at Pride in the Park on Sunday, where music and entertainment segments will be performed throughout the weekend. Last month it was announced that Diana Ross and Raye will headline the event.
While Diana Ross has been announced as Sunday’s headliner, Raye will headline Saturday, alongside other performances from Jessie J and Self Esteem. RuPaul will also act as the ‘icon’ of the day and provide a DJ set.
Brighton Pride organizers have said more acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Last year there were performances by Sugababes and Mariah Carey, as well as other big acts.
This year’s celebration also marks the 35th anniversary, as Brighton’s first Pride celebration took place in 1973.
As for Hilton, the hotel heiress made a name for herself in the music industry in the mid-2000s with songs like Stars are blindbefore returning to the studio in 2024 with her second album, Infinity icon.
The project moved into electronic music and paved the way for her DJ work. She is now known for her energetic DJ sets at events such as Tomorrowland and Stagecoach.
