Paris Jackson is now on better terms with Colman Domingo due to the upcoming highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic.
Colman will star as the Jackson family patriarch Joe Jackson in the Antoine Fuqua-directed film Michael.
Last year, Paris, the daughter of the Billie Jean hitmaker and Debbie Rowe – refuted his claim that she had been ‘helpful’ during the making of the film.
However, Colman has since been in contact with Paris to “smooth things out”, which she “really appreciated”.
Furthermore, in a recent conversation with Entertainment tonight, Paris shared how Colman reached out to her, noting, “I really appreciated the sentiment of it.
“Because there’s a lot of miscommunication and things get twisted,” she added.
Colman recently said he hopes Paris can enjoy the Michael Jackson biopic.
He told it WJ Magazine: “I hope she will ultimately like the tribute we gave to her father.”
Paris claimed on social media last year that she was not involved in the production of the biopic, in which the title role will be played by Jaafar Jackson, the cousin of the King of Pop.
She took to her Instagram Story and posted, “(Colman Domingo), don’t tell people I was ‘helpful’ on the set of a movie I was 0 percent involved in, lol, that’s so weird.”
Paris added in a second post: “I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes on what was unfair/what didn’t sit right with me, and when they didn’t address it, I moved on with my life. Not my monkeys, not my circus. God bless and God speed.”
Colman explained that he also had to ignore outside noise in his portrayal of Joe Jackson, who was accused of physically abusing his children.
“For me, it was about finding his humanity. He created some of the most iconic artists to ever walk this earth. What goes into making that man?” the Euphoria said actor.
“I will say that he chastised his children. It will always be debatable what is right and what is a good method,” Colman Domingo said of the abuse allegations.
