Patrick J. Adams has opened up about how much the new series costs The Madison reflected a personal period of sadness in his life.

Speak with People magazine During the series premiere in New York City on March 9, the actor shared that his family recently suffered a sudden and tragic loss.

He said, “Before it was even a script, it was just the idea of ​​something.”

“It was Taylor, Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell who were involved in something, so that was a good indication that I was going to get involved,” he added.

“My family has suffered a quite tragic and very sudden loss, leaving our family confused and heartbroken.”

“And when I read this, I was just kind of shocked at how much it aligned with what was going on in my life and how I had been with my family for the past year and trying to take care of each other and try to take care of my mom,” the actor noted.

“It just felt like sometimes things happen, and they feel like fate. And you’re like, well, I’ve been subconsciously preparing for this for a while, and it felt like it made perfect sense.”

Patrick J. Adams’ The Madison premieres March 14 on Paramount+ with three episodes. In the meantime, the next three will premiere on the 21st.
