Meghan Markle’s ‘Suits’ costar, Patrick J. Adams, has apparently taken notice of the “insane” things she’s been dealing with in recent years since her last on-screen role.
The 44-year-old actor recently appeared on the podcast ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ with Amanda Hirsch and they talked about their mutual acquaintance, the Duchess of Sussex.
Amanda told Patrick that Meghan sent her a handwritten note after she posted about her on social media before the premiere of With Love, Meghan via People.
“I haven’t met her,” Hirsch told her guest. “The way that happened was her show came out, and I had said on my Instagram, where I say stupid s***, that I’m worried about Meghan. Because, you know, you’ve protected her in the past.”
In response, Patrick said, “What she went through is crazy,” to which Amanda agreed.
Elsewhere during the conversation, Amanda also pointed to Patrick’s bio on his official Instagram account, which includes a reference to Meghan.
The bio reads: “The other guy from that show you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.”
“That has to change,” Patrick said, but Amanda was against the idea.
Patrick added: “The thing is, wherever Meghan is, if she ever read that, she’s like, ‘Patrick, give me a break.'”
It is pertinent to mention that Patrick and Meghan were cast as the love interests, Mike Ross and Rachel Zane, in the USA Network series that ran for seven seasons.
Prince Harry fell in love with Meghan while she was still filming the series and married after she left the show in 2018.
