Reba McEntire said she felt happier than ever as she celebrated turning 70.
Reba shared that this chapter of her life has brought her more peace and joy than she could ever have imagined.
The country music icon shared People that reaching this milestone was an amazing feeling, adding: ‘I think I’m happier now than I’ve ever been in my life.
It’s amazing. It’s great to be 70 and be able to do what I get to do at the level I want to do.”
Reba, who got engaged to actor Rex Linn in December, couldn’t help but rave about the man she loves.
Speaking warmly about him, she said, “I’ve never been loved by a man like Rex Linn. Rex is a very gentle man, and I just love him with all my heart. He’s a good guy. But very shy.”
Besides her happy personal life, the I am a survivor singer continued to enjoy her role as a judge on The Voice and said she was always excited to discover new talent.
“They find the best people. I’m blown away every season,” she said.
In an earlier conversation op The Drew Barrymore ShowReba reflected on her 26-year marriage to Narvel Blackstock, which ended in 2015.
However, she went on to admit that their relationship often felt more like business than romance. “He was part of the band, then became my manager and later my husband, but it was always a business situation.”
Despite everything, Reba now seemed to be living her most contented and fulfilled life.
