During the November 17 episode, the country music legend had to choose between Cori Kennedy and Aaron Nichols after the two delivered standout performances.

Kennedy took over Hurricanewhile Nichols performed You and megiving McEntire plenty to consider.

After both artists wrapped their songs, McEntire provided heartfelt feedback.

She told Kennedy, “Corey, you’re a powerhouse. When you step on stage, everyone knows you mean business.”

Turning to Nichols, she acknowledged his experience, sharing that “all your years in Nashville performing have paid off because you’re a seasoned veteran on that stage.”

She praised both singers, adding, “You’re both so good. I’m so proud of you.”

When it came time to make the final decision, McEntire chose Nichols.

But she didn’t stop there.

McEntire also pressed the mic button for Nichols and nominated him for a chance to perform at the upcoming Rose Parade. Each coach will receive only one nomination and the ultimate winner will be chosen by American votes.

McEntire expressed her confidence in her choice, saying, “I think Aaron has a great opportunity to stand on the Rose Parade stage and give a great performance.”

This makes McEntire the latest coach to commit to her roster.

Niall Horan took his mic to Nashville group DEK of Hearts last week and noted their strong consistency and growth. Earlier in the season, Michael Bublé chose Max Chambers. This makes Snoop Dogg the only coach who has not yet made a decision.
