Reba McEntire and Rex Linn are reportedly experiencing tension in their relationship.
Insiders recently told Radar Online that the couple put their wedding plans on hold after getting engaged on Christmas Eve in 2024.
The source said: “Reba’s excuse about her work getting in the way makes no sense. It’s a crazy turn of events because she was so excited to be a bride and didn’t talk about anything else during the holidays.”
“She even said that the wedding didn’t have to be a big ceremony, that she and Rex could get away with it if they were too busy for anything special and had a bigger party planned,” she added.
It is pertinent to mention that Reba and Rex’s friends believe that the singer’s poor track record in marriages is the real problem. “Once again it seems that Reba’s fear of commitment has sunk in.”
“She says there’s way too much work for the both of them to focus on, and maybe it’s best that they get a rain check and get back to the way they were before the engagement,” she added.
However, sources reveal that “poor man” Rex Linn was left dangling for so long, even before Reba McEntire accepted his proposal. Moreover, she kept the news a secret for a year before it became public.
“Unsurprisingly, he feels confused and uncertain about Reba’s ultimate motives and no one blames him. The way things are going, Rex could easily decide to walk,” the insider revealed.
