It looks like Dolly Parton will have a special at best friend Reba McEntire’s wedding.
An insider said Radaronline that the 70-year-old American singer and actress, who is getting ready to tie the knot with her fiancé, Rex Linn, is looking forward to booking boyfriend Parton’s Dollywood theme park for her big day.
The source stated, “On one hand, going all out really appeals to her, but another part of her prefers the idea of an intimate affair, possibly in the backyard of her Nashville estate, negating the need for all the bells and whistles.”
Even though McEntire hasn’t made a final decision on the perfect wedding venue, “there’s no way Reba can go ahead and tie the knot without Dolly taking center stage — otherwise she’d be raising hell,” the insider claimed.
Parton and the Young Sheldon stars consider each other as sisters from another mother as their friendship goes back almost 50 years and they don’t celebrate their special moments without each other.
Plus, McEntire is planning her wedding during the 2025 holidays because she and Linn’s “best friends from the South will probably be home, so it makes perfect sense.”
The source revealed: “All the paperwork for the prenuptial agreement can be completed quite quickly, so that won’t be a problem.”
“Rex isn’t picky. He lets Reba have his way and says whatever she decides is fine with him,” the insider concluded.
