Rob Reiner and Michele’s son Nick Reiner has reportedly hired a top lawyer to defend him after he was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of his parents.
Nick also faces a special charge for allegedly using a knife.
Amid the major development, Hollywood expert Rob Shuter has claimed that Nick Reiner, accused of fatally stabbing his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, has hired superstar criminal defense attorney Alan Jackson.
However, the insider told the expert: “Nick has never made a living in his life. He has always lived off his parents. And now, even if he is dead, it seems he is still dependent on their money.”
The expert went on to say, “The expensive seven-figure retainer for Jackson? Sources say it’s believed the Reiner family will foot the bill.”
“He doesn’t have the money of his own,” another source claimed, adding: “It’s tragic and bizarre – his entire life has been supported by his parents, and now his defense is being paid for with their money.”
