Shocking details are emerging about the deaths of American film director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Reiner.
For those unfamiliar, the Backbone director and his wife were found unconscious in their Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14.
According to People magazine, Rob and Michelle’s son Nick may have had a hand in their deaths.
Multiple sources have told the publication that they “were murdered by their own son, Nick.”
In 2016, Nick opened up about his long battle with drug addiction.
“I was homeless in Maine. I was homeless in New Jersey. I was homeless in Texas. I spent nights on the streets. I spent weeks on the streets. It wasn’t fun,” he told the outlet at the time.
Rob was a director and actor who rose to fame after starring in the sitcom, All in the family, as Mike.
As a director he directed several films, including This is Spinal Tap, A Few Good Men, The Princess Bride, Stay With Me, And Wrong.
Rob married Michelle in 1989 and later welcomed three children: Jake, Nick and Romy.
