Robert Irwin has opened up about the challenges of dating as a public figure.
In a new interview with the New York Timesthe Dancing with the stars participant admitted that dating as a public figure is “so challenging to navigate.”
“I never change what I say, what I do, who I am, wherever I am,” the Australian native said, adding that he has “no personality to hide behind.”
“It’s just me, and I’m sticking to who I am,” he added.
Robert went on to tell the outlet that he wants to keep his dating life out of the spotlight.
“Holy moly, that’s so challenging to navigate,” the TV star said, especially when “everything you do is on TikTok the next day.”
Recently in an interview with E! News, Robert shared what he looks for in a partner.
“I like to surround myself with people who are friendly, who are positive and who are up for an adventure,” he said. “Because at the end of the day, I feel so grateful that every day is an adventure for me.”
“I travel all over the world, I have my conservation mission, I get to do some really cool things. I’m very grateful and I would be honored, I would love to share that with someone special,” he added.
