Steve Irwin’s son Robert has made his deceased father proud of his remarkable debut at RealityShow Dancing with the stars Season 34.
The 21-year-old closed the episode of Tuesday evening by dancing Born to be wild By Stepphenwolf with his dance partner Witney Carson.
The young TV presenter not only wore the shirt of his deceased father all day, but also brought a special tribute to Steve by hitting the characteristic pose of his father, both fists up.
Robert and Witney managed to achieve a 15/20 score, with the competition being connected to The secret life of Mormon women Actress Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas.
On September 19, the Australian Nature Conserver spoke against Access to HollywoodWhere he said his father would be happy that he played in the lead role in DWTS.
Irwin said, “He was the kind of person he just never stopped.”
“He was passionate about everything he did. And he loved life when he just lived on the edge and gave it 100. And that is what this experience is,” he added.
The Zookeeper also confessed that he feels honored to continue Steve’s legacy.
“I have the honor to continue his estate and the legacy of my family, and I never thought I could do that by dancing, but we are and I am just so grateful for this,” said Robert.
Dancing with the stars premiered on September 16 with every episode that was broadcast on Disney+ on ABC and Simulcast every Tuesday at 8:00 pm on Disney+ on Disney+
